Here you can discover the history of Canada's noble and ancient Wortman Family.

George and Mariah Wortman settled along the River Petitcodiac in what is today's Moncton, New Brunswick. They set sail on April 20, 1766 and arrived with 6 other families on June 3, 1766.

They sailed aboard the sloop "Schuylkill" out of Pennsylvania when George II made Crown land available to settlers living in the 13 Colonies.
